WWF Monday Night Raw March 1, 1993. Shown live on USA from the Manhattan Center in New York City, New York.

Fatu is in the ring as Vince McMahon, Randy Savage and Rob Bartlett welcome us. Bartlett is dressed like Elvis.

Match: Bret “Hitman” Hart defends the WWF Title against “Headshrinker” Fatu (With Afa)
Wow. I cannot believe that this man will become Rikishi in seven years. They just look so different. Afa is talking to a shrunken head
on the outside of the ring. Bret is showing some good mat wrestling early on, applying some armdrag takedowns to Fatu.
Fatu about takes the Hitman’s head off with a super kick, only gets a count of 2 though.

Commercial break.

McMahon says that Bret took a beating during the break. Fatu just shot Bret into the turnbuckles and he hit hard!
Another 2 count for Fatu. Fatu hit’s a sideslam, followed by a head butt off the second rope for another count of 2.
Fatu goes up to the top rope but Bret catches him and hit’s a superplex. Bret hit’s a bulldog for another close call.
Samu is now at ringside. Bret slaps on the sharpshooter but Afa distracts the referee and Samu hits Bret from behind.
Samu then pins Bret but only gets a count of 2. Fatu comes back in and switches place with Samu. Bret hits Fatu with a Russian legsweep.
Samu gets caught in the ropes, Afa gets a dropkick from Bret. Bret then reapplies the sharpshooter to Fatu for the win. Great match!

Its time for the Wrestle Mania 9 report with Gene Okerlund. Gene announces that Money Inc has challenged Hulk Hogan
and Brutus Beefcake to a match at the event. Gene says he is sure Hogan and Beefcake will accept. Already signed,
Giant Gonzalez vs. the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels defends the WWF Intercontinental Title against Tatanka,
Lex Luger vs. Mr. Perfect, and Bret Hart defends the WWF Title against Yokozuna.

Up next, Doink The Clown vs. Koko B. Ware.

Commercial break.

We go to a vignette of Crush somewhere on a beach in Hawaii. He squeezes a coconut and says that will be Doink at Wrestle Mania.

Match: Doink The Clown vs. “The Birdman” Koko B. Ware.
Doink carries a wrapped present to the ring. Doink attacks Koko from behind before the bell. Bartlett thinks Ware looks like Gary Coleman.
Doink wins by submission with the stump puller in a pretty quick match. Bartlett (still acting like Elvis) goes up to interview Doink.
Bartlett asks Doink if there is food inside the present. Doink pulls out a pie and then hits Bartlett in the face with it.

Up next, an interview with Money Inc.

Commercial break.

Vince McMahon introduces the WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc (Ted Dibiase & Irwin R. Shyster). Dibiase brings up
James Robinson’s (the CEO of American Express) recent retirement. He said he feels sorry for him because he only gets $700,000 a year
in retirement. Dibiase says the people at American Express do not appreciate him. The Million Dollar Man switches gears to Hogan and Beefcake.
He said he is glad they stole Jimmy Hart from he and IRS. Irwin then gets on the mic and says they gave Beefcake a wakeup call and they will
do the same thing to Hogan. Vince asks about this challenge Money Inc has made for Wrestle Mania 9 and whether or not they will put the titles
on the line. Dibiase confirms that they will put the tag straps on the line.

Promo for Wrestle Mania 9 airs.

Up next is Lex Luger.

Commercial break.

Match: PJ Walker vs. “The Narcissist” Lex Luger.
Bartlett mentions that he likes Luger because “he makes his boobies dance”. Bobby Heenan calls into the show. He says the man sitting in the
announce booth is not Elvis Presley, it is George Steinbrenner. Bobby has a woman get on the phone and pretend to be Priscilla Presley.
The woman says that is not her husband. Meanwhile, Luger defeats the future Justin Credible with a running forearm. After the match,
Luger grabs Walker by his head and calls him the typical American man before posing in the ring.

Up next, the Steiner Brothers (Vince calls them Rob and Scott).

Commercial break.

Match: The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) vs. Duane Gill & Barry Hardy.
Savage informs Vince that he messed up the Steiner’s names before the break, Vince apologizes.
The match is a total squash as Scott pins Gill with the Frakensteiner.
